 Soragoro Uwanosuke - Vaudevillian, musician, singer-song writer.

 

Based in Hida-Takayama in Japan. Soragoro sings his original songs as well as old jazz, bossa nova, and all other world music with ukulele. Tap-dance and pantomime are usually performed in his show. He has performed mainly in Tokyo, Takayama and in many other overseas cities like Montreal, New York, Berlin, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Seoul. 

The original meaning of Vaudeville in French is voix de ville / the voice of town.  Inheriting the souls of great vaudeville entertainers, Soragoro satirizes society and everyday life in his songs and comedy.

Appeared on many Kodomo challenge DVDs (for children). In July 2014 he won the 1st prize of "Voix de Ville" in Montreal. In June 2015, he was nominated for the Best Choreography Award in Montreal. He is also a member of Aitsu and Around the World Orchestra, Casino Follies. He is a member of Boys Variety Association.
